Fresh air from Huntsville

'Inno' uncle drove over from Huntsville last weekend to see me... :)

I knew how long he'd driven, so I was particularly nice to him.. always happy and smiling for him...

We went for a stroll to Kensington Lake park.

With the cute and cuddly tedd-bear he got for me...

I play around all by myself now... Sometimes my feet are all I need to play with! :)

New Foods

I'm 5 months now :) And every other day mum tries new foods with me.. apples, carrots, bananas, peas...

So far, bananas are my favorite. Mum says it's a challenge feeding me. I tend to get my hands into my bowl and dirty myself and her..





I find apples sour... Look at me twitch!

Fall Colors

We made use of one of the last sunny days in Michigan by going out for a nature walk and clicking loads of pics in the fiery fall colors...

1st Diwali

Aahana celebrated her first Diwali as she almost turns 5months.

Baba does pooja at home in the morning.

And Mum makes Suji-Nariyan laddoos. :)

In the evening we attended gurbani at Gurdwara and had langar too! I wore my new Diwali dress for the occassion!

2 Years of Togetherness

Mum-Dad have been married 2 long years now... :) We made it a day by celebrating with dinner outside.

I wore a new winter frock knitted by Nani for me :) Look I pweeety I look!

Cuz I refuse to sit in my car-seat, I now need my stroller everywhere I go.. So mum-dad coudlnt go any crazy places. I made them settle for a much less notorious "Chili's"!

Daddy made me taste caramel... mmmmhh.. Yummm! And I was so hyper active cuz of the sugar that I kepy mum awake until 12 at night!

And I am no longer in my car seat in the stroller! Yayyy.

Ummmh.. it's started to get chilly now, so Aahana finally got a chance to try on the cardigan Nani got for her. And she looked like such a Mary Jane! :D

Aahana luvs to conquer her daddy's place in the bed! And she's especially merry when she wakes up to find herself in the BIG bed! :D

Aahana topples from her tummy to her back now... by herself.
It's still a bit of a struggle .... but after few times of trying, she does manage. Sometimes she gives up too !!!

Froggie Pottie

Aahana has finally started to sit on her own in her Froggie Pottie.. Thanks to Nani's training since day one! :) Its another matter that she uses it more as a play mate than a pottie!


Froggie's big eyes amuse Aahana and she makes small talk with it.
